Conflict management training

Courses cover personal safety and conflict resolution in your working environment. Tailored, the courses are under four main sectors: care; personal safety; call handling and refreshers

Physical intervention training

A unique physical intervention skills programme that is low risk for both employees and service users and others to whom they are applied. Holds do not involve pain compliance. The levels are disengagement; holding; advanced holding; specialist (handcuff and ERB)

Manager training

Manager training brings out the different elements that contribute to a safer working environment. The post incident training shows managers how to handle professionally the aftermath, with minimal repercussions for the individuals and the organisation.

Tutor training

Trainers can be trained to deliver Maybo's conflict management programmes. Organisations will be licensed and provided with trainer and delegate support notes.

Qualifications

Maybo's conflict management and physical intervention training can include City & Guilds qualifications for delegates and trainers. Maybo tutors can deliver IOSH certificated manager training.

Management tools

e-tools specific to work related violence: training needs analysis; risk assessment; training records, training evaluation, staff survey.

e-Learning support

Pre-learning in conflict management and conflict resolution. Also pre-learning for physical intervention skills; and learner passport.

Learning materials

Pre-learning on paper for conflict management and for PI. Tailored booklet for staff. Tutor support materials.

Consultancy

Analysis and report including a violence risk assessment; leading to a comprehensive violence risk management policy and action plan.
